Masayuki - Sarumawashi

Nice Okimono of a Sarumawashi = Monkeyclap (Japanese trainer of monkeys), seated on a rock with a monkey on his sholder.


The Okimono has a beautifull patina. It is from the Meiji period, 1890. It is signed at the bottom Masayuki 正之 (K191, K176, from work of NETSUKE & INRO ARTISTS, and How to Read Their Signatures by George Lazarnick).


H: 12.2 cm - W: 5.7 cm - T: 3.7 cm weight: 170 grams
